With close to 15 years in academic and the pharmaceutical industry, I bring expertise in assessing scientific potential and testing the feasibility of therapeutic startups. My research focused on innate immunity pathways and cellular stress modulation, providing insights into experimental designs and data storytelling.
With a proven track record of maturing assets from NME to market approval, I've contributed to the progression of 10 assets across approximately 30 studies. Notably, 90% of these studies achieved on-time or accelerated recruitment timelines, leading to significant cost savings and efficiency gains. I have consistently helped studies exceed DEI recruitment goals by 175% yielding better outcomes and moving the needle towards health equity.
Through the implementation of comprehensive patient recruitment dashboards and AI algorithms, I identified patient pools and revitalized site networks in over 20 countries. These initiatives resulted in a 25% reduction in screen failure rates across BIPOC communities and cost savings of approximately $4M.
Throughout my career, I've excelled in managing founder expectations and fostering valuable relationships. I've secured contracts worth over $4.5M for vendor startups addressing critical patient needs, demonstrating tangible results. Moreover, I've spearheaded DEI initiatives, expanding program impact within BIPOC communities globally. Through strategic partnerships and initiatives, I have helped companies engaged over thousands of patients, significantly enhancing representation in clinical trials.
I've presented at local & national events (e.g., ACR, DDW, and SCOPE, JLABS) highlighting my successes in driving impactful change in clinical research. I have won countless presentations awards for storytelling, have helped numerous companies and individuals refine their abilities to pitch / present, and served as a mentor/judge for pitch competitions.
